National Pillar

Home Service Website DesignThe Foundation of Your Lead System.

Your website is not a brochure. It is the place where every dollar of search and advertising either turns into a phone call or evaporates. A site can look expensive and still fail at the only job it has.

The pattern in home services is consistent. Sites lose jobs because the phone number is hard to reach on a phone, because there is no page about the specific service the visitor needs, because nothing on the page addresses price, and because it loads slowly on a mobile connection in a driveway.

We build websites as the foundation of a lead system, with tracking installed from day one — and we are explicit about ownership, because too many contractors have learned the hard way that their site was never really theirs.

Serving home service companies nationwide. $497 Marketing Audit · No ranking, lead, or revenue guarantees.

Who this is written for

  • Your current site was built for looks rather than for booking jobs
  • You are sending paid traffic to pages that were never designed to convert
  • You want a page for every service you sell, not one combined list
  • You want to own the site, the domain, and the content outright

Smaller or newer companies are genuinely welcome to use our free training and $197/month DIY membership instead — no pressure either way.

What a converting home service site actually does

The fundamentals are boring and they are what separate a site that books jobs from one that wins design compliments.

  • A tap-to-call number visible without scrolling, on every page, all day
  • A real page for every service, with its own detail, photos, and call to action
  • Honest price context — ranges, what changes the number, what a quote includes
  • Proof placed where hesitation happens: reviews, licenses, real crew and job photos
  • Fast on a mid-range phone on a weak connection, not just on your office desktop
  • Forms short enough to finish one-handed in a driveway

Tracking installed on day one

Call tracking, form tracking, and analytics are part of the build, not a later project. A relaunch without tracking means you will never know whether it helped, and every channel that sends traffic loses its scoreboard on launch day.

Rebuilds without throwing away your search equity

The most expensive mistake in a redesign is changing every URL and redirecting nothing. Before launch we map existing URLs, preserve the ones that earn traffic, redirect anything that must move, and keep the content that was already ranking. A prettier site that loses its rankings is a downgrade.

Ownership and terms, stated plainly

We do not advertise a free website, because a website included in an ongoing engagement is not free — it is part of what you pay for. Here is how it actually works.

  • You own your domain, registered in your name, and you keep it
  • You own the content, copy, and photography produced for your site
  • A custom site can be built as part of a marketing system engagement, depending on scope, or purchased standalone from $5,000
  • Hosting and ongoing maintenance are included while you are an active client
  • If you cancel, the site is yours. We provide an export and hand off to your new host. We do not take the site down or hold it hostage
  • If the site was built inside an engagement, a minimum term applies before transfer — the specific terms are written into your agreement before you sign, never discovered later

Where this usually goes wrong

Judging a site on how it looks on a desktop instead of how it converts on a phone
One services page instead of a page per service
Hiding pricing entirely and losing the visitor to whoever explains it
Launching a redesign with no redirects and losing years of search equity
Heavy sliders, video headers, and animations that slow the first paint
A site you cannot edit and do not own, controlled by whoever built it

What to measure

Hold whoever does this work — your team, us, or your current agency — to these.

Calls and forms per visitor

The site's actual conversion rate.

Mobile load speed

The most common reason paid traffic never converts.

Conversion rate by service page

Shows which pages need work or more traffic.

Form abandonment

Usually a sign the form asks for too much too early.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get a free website if I sign up for monthly marketing?

We do not call it free, because it is not. A custom conversion-focused website can be included in a marketing system engagement depending on the scope you select, and that cost is part of your monthly investment. It can also be purchased outright from $5,000.

What happens to my website if I cancel?

The site, the domain, and the content are yours. We export the site and hand it off to whoever hosts it next. If the site was built as part of an engagement, the minimum term and any transfer details are specified in your agreement up front.

Who owns my domain name?

You do. Your domain should be registered in your business name with you as the account owner. If a previous vendor holds your domain, getting it back into your name should be a priority regardless of who you work with.

Will a redesign hurt my rankings?

It can, if URLs change without redirects or ranking content is discarded. Handled properly — URL mapping, redirects, and preserved content — a rebuild should improve performance rather than reset it.
